Youth Group
Holy Rosary's Youth Group is called YOUTH R.O.C.K.' S. Our Youth Group is a youth ministry that is intended to act as a continuation of the Parish's Spiritual and Religious Education's Formation Program that focuses on young people in Grades 7 thru 12th and well beyond into college. Although it runs through our Catholic Church, YOUTH R.O.C.K.' S. activities are open to Middle School and High School Students who are non-Catholics and non-parishioners.
YOUTH R.O.C.K.' S. has service and fun activities throughout the year. Youth participate in various service activities such as Make-A-Difference Day & Join Hands Day with the Catholic Financial Life, Bingo at Willowpark Assisted Living Residence Home, assisting at Helping Hands Food Pantry, serving lunch at the NEW Community Shelter, Kris Kringle Project for the Salvation Army, as well as, at Mass with greeting, ushering, lectoring or being an altar server. We have various fun events, but the Ski Trip is the best attended. Youth Ministry is self-supporting with our fundraisers and generous donations from the parishioners. Greeting Card Displays are in each wing of church with proceeds helping support Youth Ministry. The program is fully chaperoned by adult parishioners and led by Mrs. Carla Nennig, our Youth Minister. If you are a young person interested in being a part of Holy Rosary's Youth Ministry, contact the church at (920) 898-4884.
YOUTH R.O.C.K.' S. CHOIR is open to all boys and girls, in Grades 7th thru 12th, who enjoy singing and wish to praise God in song. Currently, we have about 11 members in our Choir, but we accept new members throughout the year. We would like to improve our sound by adding musical instruments. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Mrs. Nennig. We sing once a month throughout the year. Practice is in church and times are noted below, but may be subject to change with our director, Ms. Vic Guckeisen. The congregation at Holy Rosary is very responsive to the YOUTH R.O.C.K.' S. CHOIR. They thoroughly enjoy listening and join in our songs with great enthusiasm. We, as a whole at Holy Rosary, are very proud of our Choir.
